Vistaweave – Shade Mesh

This fabric is a 2 x 2 weave, wider width (243cm & 305cm) version of  Vistaweave and also the same weight – 500gsm. Its even construction in warp and weft is ideal for railroading with even tension both ways to provide a blind with 300cm drop as wide as required without joins. Ideal for Awnings, Auto Sunblinds and Folding Arm Awnings.

A heavy duty (573gsm) 2 x 2 weave external shade fabric available in 302cm width to allow wider openings to be covered without joins. Its fire resistant 2 x 2 construction provides strength and stability and a better view because of its evenness Ideal for residential or commercial where high winds are a factor and heavy duty fabric is required.

The original 2 x 1 weave mesh fabric, tried and tested and delivering stylish shade solutions for over 25 years. The ideal fabric for windows where a wider fabric is not required. Its 220cm width and wide range of stripes make it ideal for standard window openings on any residential or commercial installation.

Vistrascreen90 is ideal for external awnings that require a wider blind with 10% openness factor. Its 1 x 1 weave and its 243cm or 305cm wide widths* make it suitable for railroading to provide a blinds without joins. Its 10% openness factor enables even better vision for this see through mesh fabric that shades without losing the view.

General Cleaning:

Although the surface of Vistaweave is non-absorbent, dust, leaves and bird droppings may leave their mark. A regular sponging with warm soapy water followed by a hose down will remove such normal soiling and prevent build-up. Where build-up has occurred, the surface should be scrubbed with a SOFT brush, using a solution of a household cleanser such as “Ajax” or Flash”, followed by a hose down.

Special Cleaning:

Although Vistaweave is formulated to resist rot and mildew, mildew can occur on any collection of dust, dirt or general grime. Regular maintenance by way of sponging the surface with a solution of a household cleanser followed by a hose down will counter most mildew problems. To obtain additional protection against mildew a sponging with a cold solution of one (1) part “White King” in ten (10) parts water may be used. Mildew susceptible Vistaweave may be sprayed with a light covering of “Glen 20” Spray Disinfectant to prevent further growth, particularly if there is to be prolonged storage.
