Plantation Shutters Geelong, Plantation Shutters Surf Coast, Plantation Shutters Bellarine Peninsula

GENERAL OPERATION

  • When rotating blades, tilt two blades simultaneously from the centre of the panel.
  • To open hinged panels, tilt the blades open, and pull the fixed stile. Never open or close the panels by pulling or pushing on the blades.
  • To avoid damaging the frame, lift large panels into the frame by using the stile or the mid rail.
  • Do not put your hands through the blades to access the window.
  • Blades must be closed before folding back the panels of bi-fold shutters.
  • If the blades are too stiff or two loose, adjust the tension screw located on the side of the panels or tilt bar until you achieve the desired tension.

CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Dust the panels with a feather duster or gently vacuum them using a soft brush attachment.
  • For stubborn dirt or stains, use a soft, slightly damp cloth with a mild soapy solution and dry immediately.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, and do not scrub or rub the shutters harshly to prevent tarnishing the finish.
  • Keep Sliding and Bi-fold tracks free from dirt buildup and dust.
  • If necessary, only use silicone spray on the tracks; never use oil-based sprays, such as RP7 or WD-40. Do not spray silicone on the shutters.
  • Rotate the blades regularly to ensure the longevity and proper function.
